Sukta 3.59
महाँ आदित्यो नमसोपसद्यो यातयज्जनो गृणते सुशेवः । तस्मा एतत्पन्यतमाय जुष्टमग्नौ मित्राय हविरा जुहोत ॥
mahā́n ādityó námasopasádyo yātayáj-jano gṛṇaté suśévaḥ | tásmā etát pányatamāya júṣṭam agnáu mitrā́ya havír ā́ juhota ||
ಮಹಾನ್ ಆದಿತ್ಯನು ನಮಸ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಉಪಸದ್ಯ (ಸಮೀಪಿಸಬಹುದಾದವನು); ಅವನು ಜನರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗಾಯಕನಿಗೆ ಸುಶೇವನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹವಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ—ಅತಿಪನ್ಯತಮ, ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಜುಷ್ಟ—ಅತಿಶಯ ಪ್ರಶಂಸನೀಯನಾದ ಮಿತ್ರನಿಗಾಗಿ.
