अनमीवास इळया मदन्तो मितज्ञवो वरिमन्ना पृथिव्याः । आदित्यस्य व्रतमुपक्षियन्तो वयं मित्रस्य सुमतौ स्याम ॥
anamīvā́sa íḷayā́ mádanto mitájñavo várimann ā́ pṛthivyā́ḥ | ādityásya vratám upakṣiyántaḥ vayám mitrásya sumatáu syā́ma ||
ನಾವು ಅಂತರಂಗದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿರೋಣ; ಇಳಾ (ಇಳಯಾ)ಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸೋಣ; ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಅರಿಯುವವರಾಗೋಣ; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಆಧಾರದಿಂದ ಹರಡಿದ ವಿಶಾಲತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸೋಣ. ಆದಿತ್ಯನ ವ್ರತವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತ, ಮಿತ್ರನ ಸುಮತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಇರೋಣ.
