प्र सप्तहोता सनकादरोचत मातुरुपस्थे यदशोचदूधनि । न नि मिषति सुरणो दिवेदिवे यदसुरस्य जठरादजायत ॥
Transliteration
prá saptáhotā sanakā́d arocata mātúr upásthe yád aśócad ū́dhani | ná ní miṣati suráṇo divédive yád ásurasya jaṭhárād ájāyata ||
Translation
ಸನಾತನ ಮೂಲದಿಂದ ಸಪ್ತಹೋತಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸಿದನು, ತಾಯಿಯ ಉಪಸ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ—ಪೋಷಣೆಯ ಉದರದಲ್ಲಿ—ಅವನು ಜ್ವಲಿಸಿದಾಗ. ದಿವೇದಿವೇ ಸುಧಾನ (ಸು-ದಾತ) ಕಣ್ಮಿಟುಕಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅಸುರ (ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಶಕ್ತಿ) ಯ ಜಠರದಿಂದ ಜನಿಸಿದನು.
