Sukta 3.15
त्वं नृचक्षा वृषभानु पूर्वीः कृष्णास्वग्ने अरुषो वि भाहि । वसो नेषि च पर्षि चात्यंहः कृधी नो राय उशिजो यविष्ठ ॥
tvám nṛ-cákṣā vṛṣabhā́nu pūrvī́ḥ kṛṣṇā́sv agne aruṣó ví bhāhi | váso néṣi ca párṣi cā́ty áṃhaḥ kṛdhí no rāyá uśíjo yaviṣṭha ||
ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನಿ, ನೃಚಕ್ಷಾ (ಮಾನವನೊಳಗೆ ಭೇದಿಸಿ ನೋಡುವವ) ನೀನು ಪೂರ್ವೀ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸು; ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ (ಕತ್ತಲೆ)ಯ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಅರುಷ (ರುದಿರವರ್ಣ)ನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸು. ಹೇ ವಸು, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೇಸಿ (ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆಸಿ) ಮತ್ತು ಪರ್ಷಿ (ಪಾರ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ) ಎಲ್ಲ ಅತಿಅಂಹಸ್ (ಘೋರ ದುಃಖ)ದಿಂದ; ಹೇ ಯವಿಷ್ಠ (ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿ ಯೌವನ/ಅತಿ ತ್ವರಿತ), ಉಶಿಜ (ಯಾಚಕ/ಸಾಧಕ)ನ ರಾಯ (ಸಂಪತ್ತು) ನಮ್ಮಿಗಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸು.
