Sukta 2.31
उत त्ये देवी सुभगे मिथूदृशोषासानक्ता जगतामपीजुवा । स्तुषे यद्वां पृथिवि नव्यसा वचः स्थातुश्च वयस्त्रिवया उपस्तिरे ॥
utá tyé devī́ subhágē mithū-dṛ́śo uṣásā-náktā jágatām api-júvā | stuṣé yád vāṃ pṛthivi návyasā vácas sthātúś ca váyas trí-vayā upa-stíre ||
ಮತ್ತೆ ಆ ಎರಡು ದೇವಿಯರು—ಸುಭಗೆಯಾದ, ಒಂದೇ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಜೋಡಿ—ಉಷಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ನಕ್ತಾ (ರಾತ್ರಿ), ಚಲಿಸುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ಯುವವರು; ಹೇ ಪೃಥಿವಿ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ವಚನದಿಂದ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವಾಗ, ಸ್ಥಾವರ ಸತ್ತ್ವವೂ ತ್ರಿವಿಧ ಜೀವನದ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೂ ನಿನ್ನ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಉಪಸ್ತರ (ಶಯನೆ/ಆಧಾರ)ವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ.
