Sukta 2.23
मा नः स्तेनेभ्यो ये अभि द्रुहस्पदे निरामिणो रिपवोऽन्नेषु जागृधुः । आ देवानामोहते वि व्रयो हृदि बृहस्पते न परः साम्नो विदुः ॥
mā́ naḥ stenébhyo yé abhí druháspade nirāmíṇo ripávo ánneṣu jāgṛdhúḥ | ā́ devā́nām óhate ví vrayó hṛdí bṛ́haspate ná paráḥ sāmno viduḥ ||
ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾದ (ಆಧಾರ)ದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ಆ ಕಳ್ಳರು—ಅನೀರಾಮಿಣ (ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಬಾರದ) ಶತ್ರುಗಳು, ಅನ್ನ/ಪೋಷಣೆಗೆ ಲಾಲಸೆಯಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರಿರುವವರು—ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಲುಪದಿರಲಿ. ಓ ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತೇ! ನೀನು ದೇವರ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಕವಚವನ್ನು ನೇಯುತ್ತೀ; ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ವ್ರಯೋ (ಆವರಣ/ಬಂಧನ)ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ತೆರೆಯುತ್ತೀ—ಸಾಮ್ನದ ಗುಪ್ತ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳನ್ನು (ರಹಸ್ಯ ಸ್ವರಸಂಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು) ನಿನ್ನಿಗಿಂತ ಮಿಗಿಲಾಗಿ ಯಾರೂ ತಿಳಿಯರು.
