आ द्वाभ्यां हरिभ्यामिन्द्र याह्या चतुर्भिरा षड्भिर्हूयमानः । आष्टाभिर्दशभिः सोमपेयमयं सुतः सुमख मा मृधस्कः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ dvā́bhyāṃ háribhyām indra yā́hy ā́ catúrbhir ā́ ṣáḍbhir hū́yamānaḥ | ā́ṣṭā́bhir dáśabhiḥ soma-péyam ayáṃ sutáḥ sumakha mā́ mṛ́dhaskaḥ ||

Translation

ಓ ಇಂದ್ರ, ಎರಡು ಹರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾ; ನಾಲ್ಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಾ; ಆರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂಡ—ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಯುವಾಗ. ಎಂಟರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಹತ್ತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೋಮಪಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾ: ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ (ಪೀಡಿತ) ಸೋಮವಿದೆ. ಓ ಸುಮಖ (ಸುಯಜ್ಞ), ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಹಾನಿಯನ್ನು ತರಬೇಡ.
