परा देहि शामुल्यं ब्रह्मभ्यो वि भजा वसु । कृत्यैषा पद्वती भूत्व्या जाया विशते पतिम् ॥
Transliteration
parā dehi śāmulyaṃ brahmabhyo vi bhajā vasu | kṛtyaiṣā padvatī bhūtvī ā jāyā viśate patim ||
Translation
ಶಾಮುಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ದೂರಮಾಡು; ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಹಂಚು. ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯಾ ಬೇರೆಡೆ ಪಾದವತೀ (ಆಧಾರ ಹೊಂದಿದವಳಾಗಿ) ಆಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ತೆರಳಲಿ; ನಂತರ ಪತ್ನಿ ಪತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲಿ—ತನ್ನ ಸತ್ಯ ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲಿ.
