Sukta 10.70
शश्वत्तममीळते दूत्याय हविष्मन्तो मनुष्यासो अग्निम् । वहिष्ठैरश्वैः सुवृता रथेना देवान्वक्षि नि षदेह होता ॥
śaśvattamáṃ īḷate dūtyā́ya haviṣmánto manuṣyā́so agním | vahiṣṭháir áśvaiḥ su-vṛ́tā rathénā́ devā́n vakṣi ní ṣadéha hótā ||
ಹವಿಷ್ಮಂತ ಮಾನವರು ದೂತಕರ್ಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವನ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಅಶ್ವಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಸುಸಜ್ಜಿತ ರಥದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರು; ಹೇ ಹೋತೃ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸನಗ್ರಹಣ ಮಾಡು—ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಆಮಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಪುರೋಹಿತನಾಗಿ.
