अभूर्वौक्षीर्व्यु आयुरानड्दर्षन्नु पूर्वो अपरो नु दर्षत् । द्वे पवस्ते परि तं न भूतो यो अस्य पारे रजसो विवेष ॥

Transliteration

ábhūr vaukṣīr vy ù ā́yur ānaḍ dárśan nú pū́rvo áparo nú darṣat | dvé paváste párí táṁ ná bhūto yó asyá pāré rájaso vivéṣa ||

Translation

ನೀನು ಉಂಟಾದೆ; ನೀನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾದೆ; ನೀನು ಆಯುಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿದೆ. ಈಗ ಪೂರ್ವವು ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ, ಈಗ ಅಪರವೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ. ಎರಡು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಧಾರೆಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರೆಯುತ್ತವೆ—ಈ ರಜಸ್‌ (ಮಧ್ಯಾಕಾಶ)ದ ಪಾರಾಗಿ ದೂರದ ತೀರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದವನಾಗಿರುವ ಆತನಂತೆ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
