आविष्ट्यो वर्धते चारुरासु जिह्मानामूर्ध्वः स्वयशा उपस्थे । उभे त्वष्टुर्बिभ्यतुर्जायमानात्प्रतीची सिंहं प्रति जोषयेते ॥

Transliteration

āviṣṭyó vardhate cā́rur ā́su jihmā́nām ūrdhvó svayáśā upásthe | ubhé tváṣṭur bibhyatur jā́yamānāt pratī́cī síṃhaṃ práti joṣayete ||

Translation

ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿ, ಅವನು ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಸುಂದರನಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ವಕ್ರರ ಉಪಸ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಊರ್ಧ್ವನಾಗಿ, ಸ್ವಯಶಾ—ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಯಶಸ್ವಿ. ಜನಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ತ್ವಷ್ಟೃನ ಎರಡು (ಮಾತೃಗಳು) ಭಯಪಡುವರು; ಪ್ರತೀಚೀ—ಎದುರಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ, ಸಿಂಹನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರು ಆನಂದದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
