मधु नक्तमुतोषसो मधुमत्पार्थिवं रजः । मधु द्यौरस्तु नः पिता ॥
Transliteration
mádhu náktam utóṣáso mádhu-mat pārthívaṃ rájaḥ | mádhu dyáur astu naḥ pitā́ ||
Translation
ನಮ್ಮ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೂ ಉಷಸ್ಸೂ ಮಧುರಮಧುಮಯವಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಚಲಿಸುವ ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ರಜಸ್ಸೂ ಮಧುಮಯವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ದ್ಯೌಃ—ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ—ನಮಗೆ ಮಧುಮಯವಾಗಿರಲಿ.
