mā vó mṛgó na yávase jaritā́ bhūd ájoṣyaḥ | pathā́ yámasya gā́d úpa ||

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತೃನು ಯವಾಸಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಮೃಗದಂತೆ ಆಗದಿರಲಿ—ಸತ್ಯ ಅರ್ಪಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದವಿಲ್ಲದ ಅಜೋಷ್ಯನಾಗದಿರಲಿ; ಯಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ, ಒಳಗಿನ ವಿಲಯದ ಕೆಳಮುಖ ದಾರಿಗೆ, ಅವನು ಹೋಗದಿರಲಿ.
