मायाभिरिन्द्र मायिनं त्वं शुष्णमवातिरः । विदुष्टे तस्य मेधिरास्तेषां श्रवांस्युत्तिर ॥
Transliteration
māyā́bhir indra māyínaṃ tváṃ śúṣṇam ávā́tiraḥ | vidúṣ ṭe tásya médhirās téṣāṃ śrávāṃsy úttira ||
Translation
ಓ ಇಂದ್ರ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾಯೆಗಳಾದ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಶಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಯಾವಿ ಶುಷ್ಣನನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿದೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಆ ಕೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಅರಿತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಶ್ರವಣಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಗೊಳಿಸು—ಅವರ ಪ್ರೇರಿತ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಗ್ರಹಣಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆತ್ತಿ.
