नमो॑ऽस्तु ते निरृते तिग्मतेजोऽय॒स्मया॒न् वि चृ॑ता बन्धपा॒शान्। य॒मो मह्यं॒ पुन॒रित् त्वां द॑दाति॒ तस्मै॑ य॒माय॒ नमो॑ अस्तु मृ॒त्यवे॑
námo astu te nírṛte tigmatéjo ’yasmáyān ví cṛtā́n bandhapā́śān | yamó máhyaṃ púnar ít tvā́ṃ dadāti tásmai yamā́ya námo astu mṛtyáve ||
Homage be unto thee, O Nirṛti of keen-edged might: thy iron binding-nooses are cut apart. Yama giveth thee back to me again; to that Yama be homage—homage unto Death.
ಹೇ ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನ ನಿರೃತಿ, ನಿನಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬಂಧನ-ಪಾಶಗಳು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಯಮನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ನನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆ ಯಮನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ—ಮೃತ್ಯುವಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ.
