व्या॒घ्रं द॒त्वतां॑ व॒यं प्र॑थ॒मं ज॑म्भयामसि । आदु॑ ष्टे॒नमथो॒ अहिं॑ यातु॒धान॒मथो॒ वृक॑म्

vyāghráṃ datvatā́ṃ vayáṃ prathamáṃ jambhayāmasi | ā́d ú sténam átho ahíṃ yātudhā́nám átho vṛkám

The tiger, the toothed one, first of all do we force to gape; then also the thief, and the serpent, the yātudhāna, and likewise the wolf.

ವ್ಯಾಘ್ರನನ್ನು—ದಂತವಂತನನ್ನು—ಮೊದಲು ನಾವು ಬಾಯಿಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ನಂತರ ಕಳ್ಳನನ್ನೂ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಹಿ (ಸರ್ಪ)ಯನ್ನೂ, ಯಾತುಧಾನನನ್ನೂ, ಮತ್ತು ವೃಕ (ತೋಳ)ನನ್ನೂ.
