yáthā́ sū́ryaś ca candráś ca ná bibhītó ná riṣyátaḥ | evā́ me prā́ṇa mā́ bibheḥ ||
As the Sun and as the Moon fear not, nor come to harm, even so, O my Breath, do thou not fear.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (specific r̥ṣi attribution for this single mantra not determinable here without the full anuvāka/hymn colophon).
Devata: Prāṇa (vital breath), with Sun and Moon as paradigmatic witnesses/powers.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; the verse is in the common Atharvanic anuṣṭubh cadence).
Primary: shanta
Secondary: adbhuta
