Sukta 1.39
युष्मेषितो मरुतो मर्त्येषित आ यो नो अभ्व ईषते । वि तं युयोत शवसा व्योजसा वि युष्माकाभिरूतिभिः ॥
yuṣméṣito maruto mártyeṣita ā́ yó no ábhva ī́ṣate | ví táṃ yuyota śávasā vy ójasā ví yuṣmā́kābhir ūtíbhiḥ ||
Baik digerakkan oleh kalian, wahai Marut, maupun digerakkan oleh seorang fana—siapa pun yang menekan kami dengan daya permusuhan yang luas—pisahkanlah dia dari kami dengan kuasa kalian, dengan kekuatan kalian, dengan pertolongan-pertolongan penyelamat milik kalian sendiri.
