Soma Pavamāna
This short Pavamāna hymn celebrates Soma as he surges in power and sound like a river-wave while being pressed and purified through the woolen filter. It highlights Soma’s sweet, exhilarating essence and his readiness to become Indra’s draught, strengthening victorious might and inspired speech.

Mantra 1
उत्ते शुष्मास ईरते सिन्धोरूर्मेरिव स्वनः । वाणस्य चोदया पविम् ॥
तुम्हारी ताकत उठेगी। नदी की लहर की आवाज़ जैसी तुम्हारी आवाज़ है। शब्द की ताकत को आगे बढ़ाओ जो रास्ता बनाता है।
Mantra 2
प्रसवे त उदीरते तिस्रो वाचो मखस्युवः । यदव्य एषि सानवि ॥
जब सोम चल रहा है, तब तीन तरह की आवाज़ें उठती हैं। यह सब यज्ञ के लिए हैं। जब सोम भेड़ के ऊन पर से गुज़रता है, तब वो चल रहा होता है।

अव्यो वारे परि प्रियं हरिं हिन्वन्त्यद्रिभिः । पवमानं मधुश्चुतम् ॥
ऊन के दायरे के अंदर, प्यारे पीले सोम को पत्थरों से आगे बढ़ाते हैं। सोम खुद को साफ कर रहा है और मीठा रस टपक रहा है।

आ पवस्व मदिन्तम पवित्रं धारया कवे । अर्कस्य योनिमासदम् ॥
हे सोम, खुद को साफ करके आ। तू सबसे ज़्यादा नशा देने वाला है। छन्नी से गुज़रकर आ, पानी की तरह बह के। रिशि, गाने की जगह पर आ जा।

स पवस्व मदिन्तम गोभिरञ्जानो अक्तुभिः । इन्दविन्द्राय पीतये ॥
सोम, खुद को साफ कर। तू चमक रहा है और रोशनी दे रहा है। इंद्र के लिए पीने का बन जा। इंद्र को ताकत मिलेगी।
