Agni
This short Agni hymn asks the Fire-god to bring "sahantama"—the most conquering, luminous wealth (rayi, dyumna) that presses forward against hostile forces. It presents Agni as the beloved Hotṛ sought by all peoples and concludes with a direct plea for Agni to blaze brightly in the worshippers’ homes, granting prosperity and protection.

Mantra 1
अग्ने सहन्तमा भर द्युम्नस्य प्रासहा रयिम् । विश्वा यश्चर्षणीरभ्यासा वाजेषु सासहत् ॥
अग्नि, हमे वो ताकत लाके दो जो सब कुछ जीत लेती है। अंदर की ताकत जो आगे बढ़ती है। तुम सब इंसानों के पास जाते हो और जीत में मदद करते हो। हमे भी जीता दो।
Mantra 2
तमग्ने पृतनाषहं रयिं सहस्व आ भर । त्वं हि सत्यो अद्भुतो दाता वाजस्य गोमतः ॥
अग्नि, वो दौलत लाओ जो लड़ाई में जीतती है। अपनी ताकत से उसे हमे दे दो। तुम सच्चे हो, तुम कमाल के हो। तुम वो देते हो जो हमें रोशनी और ताकत देता है।

विश्वे हि त्वा सजोषसो जनासो वृक्तबर्हिषः । होतारं सद्मसु प्रियं व्यन्ति वार्या पुरु ॥
सारे लोग तुम्हे बुलाते हैं, सब मिलकर। यह लोग हवन की तैयारी कर चुके हैं। वो तुम्हे अपने घर में बुलाते हैं क्योंकि तुम्हे पसंद करते हैं। तुमसे उनकी बहुत सारी इच्छाएं पूरी होती हैं।

स हि ष्मा विश्वचर्षणिरभिमाति सहो दधे । अग्न एषु क्षयेष्वा रेवन्नः शुक्र दीदिहि द्युमत्पावक दीदिहि ॥
वो सब जगह का मार्ग दिखाता है और दुश्मनों को हराता है। अग्नि, हमारे घर में चमक। तू चमकदार है, हमारे लिए धन ला। तू उजाला है, हमारे लिए चमक। तू साफ करता है, और ज्यादा चमक।
