Sukta 1.116
यमश्विना ददथुः श्वेतमश्वमघाश्वाय शश्वदित्स्वस्ति । तद्वां दात्रं महि कीर्तेन्यं भूत्पैद्वो वाजी सदमिद्धव्यो अर्यः ॥
yám aśvinā dádathuḥ śvetám aśvám aghā́śvāya śáśvad ít svastí | tád vāṃ dātráṃ máhi kīrtényam bhūt paidvó vājī sádham íd dhávyó aryáḥ ||
अश्विन भ्राताओं ने अघश्व को एक सफेद घोड़ा दिया था। यह तोहफा इतना बड़ा था कि लोग आज भी उसकी तारीफ करते हैं। पैद्व नाम का व्यक्ति इस घोड़े से जीता और बलवान बन गया। वो हमेशा भगवान की पूजा करता रहा। अश्विन भ्राताओं, तुम भी हमें ऐसा ही बल दो। हमारी भक्ति और कल्याण पक्का हो जाए।
