Sukta 8.21
विद्मा सखित्वमुत शूर भोज्यमा ते ता वज्रिन्नीमहे । उतो समस्मिन्ना शिशीहि नो वसो वाजे सुशिप्र गोमति ॥
vidmā́ sakhitvám uta śūra bhojyàm ā́ te tā́ vajrinn īmahe | utó samasmínnā́ śiśīhi no vaso vā́je suśipra gómatī ||
हे सखि! हम तेरी सख्यता और, हे शूर, तेरी भोज्य (उदार) दानशीलता को जानते हैं; इसलिए, हे वज्रिन्, हम उन्हें पाने को तेरे निकट आते हैं। और इसी संगति में, हे वसु, हमें तीक्ष्ण कर—हे सुशिप्र—गोमति वाज (समृद्ध बल) में।
