Sukta 9.81
अच्छा हि सोमः कलशाँ असिष्यददत्यो न वोळ्हा रघुवर्तनिर्वृषा । अथा देवानामुभयस्य जन्मनो विद्वाँ अश्नोत्यमुत इतश्च यत् ॥
ácchā hí sómaḥ kalaśā́n ásiṣyad átyo na vóḷhā raghu-vártanir vṛ́ṣā | áthā devā́nām ubháyasya jánmano vidvā́ṃ aśnoty amúta itáś ca yát ||
કારણ કે સોમ ખરેખર કલશો તરફ ઝડપે ધસી જાય છે—ભાર વહન કરતો ઝડપી ઘોડો જેમ, ઝડપી માર્ગો ધરાવતો વૃષભ જેમ. ત્યાર પછી દેવોના દ્વિજનમનું જે છે તે જાણનાર પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે—જે પરલોકથી છે અને જે અહીંથી છે તે બન્ને.
