Sukta 9.70
स मर्मृजान इन्द्रियाय धायस ओभे अन्ता रोदसी हर्षते हितः । वृषा शुष्मेण बाधते वि दुर्मतीरादेदिशानः शर्यहेव शुरुधः ॥
sá marmṛjāná indriyā́ya dhā́yasa ā́ ubhé antā́ ródasī harṣate hitáḥ | vṛ́ṣā śúṣmeṇa bādhate ví durmatī́r ā́dediśānaḥ śaryahéva śurúdhaḥ ||
ઇન્દ્રિય શક્તિ માટે પોતાને મૃજતો, તે બે રોદસીના અંતો વચ્ચે સ્થિત થઈ આનંદિત થાય છે. બળવાન વૃષભ સમો, તે દુર્મતિઓને વિખેરી દૂર હાંકે છે; અવરોધકો પર શિકારી સમો ધસી જાય છે, શૂર ધાવક બની.
