Sukta 8.49

Devata: Indra (with Soma as enabling substance)

आ त्वा सुतास इन्दवो मदा य इन्द्र गिर्वणः । आपो न वज्रिन्नन्वोक्यं सरः पृणन्ति शूर राधसे ॥

ā́ tvā sutā́sa índavo madā́ yá índra girvaṇaḥ | ā́po ná vajrinn ánvokyaṃ sáraḥ pṛṇánti śūra rā́dhase ||

હે ગિર્વણ ઇન્દ્ર, તારા માટે સુત ઇન્દવો (પિચડેલા સોમબિંદુઓ) અને મદ (આનંદ-ઉન્માદ) આવે છે. હે વજ્રિન, હે શૂર, જેમ વહેતા જળો માર્ગે સરોવર ભરે, તેમ તેઓ તને ભરે છે—તારા રાધસે (દાનકર્મ/ઉદારતા) માટે.
