Sukta 8.2

Rishi: Medhyātithi Kāṇva (traditional for RV 8.2)

त्रय इन्द्रस्य सोमाः सुतासः सन्तु देवस्य । स्वे क्षये सुतपाव्नः ॥

tráya índrasya sómāḥ sutā́saḥ santu devásya | své kṣáye sutapā́vnaḥ ||

ઇન્દ્ર માટે દેવના ત્રણ સોમરસ—સુત (પિચડેલા) સોમ—હોવા દો. સ્વક્ષયે, પોતાના જ નિવાસ-ચેતનમાં, સુતપાવન—અભિષુત રસ પીને અમારી શક્તિઓને તે આનંદ-ઉન્માદથી શુદ્ધ કરનાર—વિરાજે.
