Transliteration
ā daivyā́ vṛṇīmahe’vā́ṃsi bṛ́haspátir no mahá ā́ sakhāyaḥ | yáthā bhávema mīḷhúṣe ánāgā yó no dātā́ parāvátaḥ pitā́iva ||
Translation
અમે દૈવી સહાયોને પસંદ કરી પોતાની પાસે બોલાવીએ છીએ; હે સખાઓ, મહાન બૃહસ્પતિ—અમારો પરાક્રમી મિત્ર—અમારી પાસે આવી નજીક બેસે. જેથી અમે ઉદાર દાતાના સમક્ષ નિર્દોષ બનીએ—જે પરાવત્ (દૂર પરેથી) પિતાની જેમ અમને દાન આપે છે.
