Sukta 7.82
अर्वाङ्नरा दैव्येनावसा गतं शृणुतं हवं यदि मे जुजोषथः । युवोर्हि सख्यमुत वा यदाप्यं मार्डीकमिन्द्रावरुणा नि यच्छतम् ॥
arvā́ṅ narā daivyénāvasā́ gátam śṛṇutáṃ hávaṃ yádi me jújoṣathaḥ | yuvór hí sakhyám utá vā yád ā́pyaṃ mārḍī́kam indrāvaruṇā ní yacchatam ||
હે નરા—દિવ્ય વીરો! તમારા દૈવી અવસા (રક્ષક સહાય) વડે અહીં આવો; જો તમે મને અનુગ્રહપૂર્વક સ્વીકારો તો મારી હાક સાંભળો. કારણ કે મિત્રતા તમારામાં છે, અને જળમાંથી જન્મેલી કૃપા પણ તમારી જ છે—હે ઇન્દ્ર-વરুণ! એ આરોગ્યદાયક માર્ડીક (કરુણા/ઉપશમ) અમારામાં સ્થિર કરો.
