Sukta 7.40
मात्र पूषन्नाघृण इरस्यो वरूत्री यद्रातिषाचश्च रासन् । मयोभुवो नो अर्वन्तो नि पान्तु वृष्टिं परिज्मा वातो ददातु ॥
mā́tra pūṣann āghṛṇe irasyó varūtrī yád rātiṣā́caś ca rāsán | mayobhúvo no árvanto ní pāntu vṛṣṭíṃ parijmā́ vā́to dadātu ||
હે પૂષન, હે તેજસ્વી (આઘૃણ), અહીં અમને નિષ્ફળ ન કર; રક્ષણ આપનાર શક્તિઓ અને દાનને સાથ આપનારાઓ (રાતિષાચ) અમને દાન આપે. આનંદ-દાતા અમારા અશ્વો અમને દૃઢપણે રક્ષે; અને સર્વત્ર પરિભ્રમણ કરતો વાયુ વરસાદ વરસાવે—તાજગીભર્યા બળનો પ્રવાહ.
