Sukta 7.3
या वा ते सन्ति दाशुषे अधृष्टा गिरो वा याभिर्नृवतीरुरुष्याः । ताभिर्नः सूनो सहसो नि पाहि स्मत्सूरीञ्जरितॄञ्जातवेदः ॥
yā́ vā te sánti dāśúṣe ádhṛṣṭā gíro vā yā́bhir nṛ-vátīr uruṣyā́ḥ | tā́bhir naḥ sū́no sahaso ní pāhi smát sūrī́n jaritṝ́n jāta-vedaḥ ||
હે દાન આપનાર માટે, તારી જે અજય વાણીઓ છે—જેનાથી તું નરવીર શક્તિઓને વિસ્તારે છે અને રક્ષે છે—તે વાણીઓથી, હે સહસના સુંનુ, અમને રક્ષા કર. હે જાતવેદસ, અમારા તરફથી સૂરિઓને—પ્રકાશિત નેતાઓને—અને જરિતૃઓને—સ્તુતિકારોને—રક્ષા કર.
