मूर्धानं दिवो अरतिं पृथिव्या वैश्वानरमृत आ जातमग्निम् । कविं सम्राजमतिथिं जनानामासन्ना पात्रं जनयन्त देवाः ॥
mūrdhā́naṃ divó aratíṃ pṛthivyā́ vaiśvānarám ṛtá ā́ jātám agním | kavíṃ samrā́jam átithiṃ jánānām āsánn ā́ pā́traṃ janayanta devā́ḥ ||
દેવોએ સત્યમાંથી જન્મેલો વૈશ્વાનર અગ્નિ જન્માવ્યો—આકાશનું શિખર (મૂર્ધા), પૃથ્વીની ગતિનો માર્ગદર્શક. કવિ, સર્વરાજા, જનસમુદાયોનો અતિથિ—અમારા અંતરમાં યજ્ઞાર્પણ માટે નજીક અને તૈયાર પાત્ર—એને દેવોએ પ્રગટ કર્યો.
