ફરી ફરી, હે શુદ્ધ હવિષ્ય વહન કરનાર, તારા પોતાના વિવેકમય દક્ષના ઉદાર બળથી, સ્તોત્રકાર તારા અંદર સોમ-આનંદને અવિરત સ્થાપે છે, હે અમર્ત્ય—જેથી અગ્નિ ઋતનો રસ પીવે અને તેને વધારતો જાય.
Soma-sacrifice setting: offering Soma to Agni (or establishing Soma-delight in the fire); emphasizes purification and continuous oblation
dakṣa (effective discernment), purification (mṛkta), ānūṣak (continuous practice; sustained yoga of offering)
Ānuṣak (continuity) expresses ṛta as unbroken right movement.
Purification (mṛkta) implies alignment with truth rather than mixed motives.
Union of fire and soma as a creative engine: force + delight births higher consciousness.
Aurobindonian synthesis: tapas becomes luminous when suffused with ānanda (Soma).
Fire = will/tapas; Soma-moon = cool delight and truth-joy; their union = balanced transformation (heat tempered by sweetness).
Unite will and delight: let aspiration be fueled by sweetness and truth-joy.
Manipura–Anahata bridge (will tempered by heart-joy)
Alternate nostril breathing (nadi śodhana) to purify, then gentle breath retention to ‘install’ steadiness (adapted, comfortable).
Steady, purified, quietly joyful continuity.
Before mantra, simplify motives (mṛkta). While chanting ‘indum… dhatte… ānuṣak’, visualize a cool lunar drop descending into a steady inner flame; feel joy becoming continuous rather than episodic.
Use traditional udātta emphasis on key nouns/verbs; keep the ‘ānuṣak’ phrase flowing without breaks to embody continuity.
Do not clip conjuncts; maintain even tempo through ‘mṛktavāhase… dakṣasya… maṃhanā’. Slightly lengthen at pāda ends.
mṛkta- (vocalic ṛ; clear kta), vāhase (long ā), dakṣasya (kṣ conjunct), maṃhanā (anusvāra before h; nasalize gently), indum (clear dental d), ānuṣak (ṣ retroflex; final k crisp), amartya (ty conjunct)
Clear, even, slightly ‘cooler’ on Soma words; steady warmth on Agni words.
