Sukta 2.17
भोजं त्वामिन्द्र वयं हुवेम ददिष्ट्वमिन्द्रापांसि वाजान् । अविड्ढीन्द्र चित्रया न ऊती कृधि वृषन्निन्द्र वस्यसो नः ॥
bhójāṃ tvām indra vayáṃ huvema dadíṣ ṭvám indrāpā́ṃsi vā́jān | avíḍḍhīndra citráyā na ū́tī́ kṛdhí vṛṣann indra vásyaso naḥ ||
હે ઇન્દ્ર, ભોજ (આનંદદાતા) અને સમૃદ્ધિઓના સ્વામી તરીકે અમે તને આહ્વાન કરીએ છીએ; હે ઇન્દ્ર, તું જ કર્મો (આપાંસિ) અને વાજ (વાજ-શક્તિ) આપે છે. હે ઇન્દ્ર, તારી ચિત્ર (ઉજ્જ્વલ, વિવિધ) ઊતિથી અમારા માટે ભેદી માર્ગ કર; હે વૃષન્ ઇન્દ્ર, અમને ઉત્તમ અવસ્થા (વસ્યસ્)ના અધિકારી બનાવ.
