Sukta 10.28
एवा हि मां तवसं जज्ञुरुग्रं कर्मन्कर्मन्वृषणमिन्द्र देवाः । वधीं वृत्रं वज्रेण मन्दसानोऽप व्रजं महिना दाशुषे वम् ॥
evā́ hí māṃ tavásaṃ jajñúr ugráṃ kárman-karman vṛ́ṣaṇam indra devā́ḥ | vadhī́ṃ vṛtráṃ vájreṇa mandasā́nó 'pá vrajáṃ mahinā́ dāśúṣe vam ||
એવાં જ દેવોએ મને તવસ્વી, ઉગ્ર અને બળવાન રૂપે જનમાવ્યો છે—હે ઇન્દ્ર, દરેક કર્મમાં શક્તિનો વૃષભ. મદમત્ત આનંદમાં મેં વજ્રથી વૃત્રનો વધ કર્યો; અને મારી મહિમાથી દાનશીલ માટે વ્રજ (ગૌઓનું બંધાણ/વાડો) ખોલી દીધો.
