समुद्रादर्णवादधि संवत्सरो अजायत । अहोरात्राणि विदधद्विश्वस्य मिषतो वशी ॥
Transliteration
samudrā́d arṇavā́d ádhi saṃvatsaró ajāyata | ahorātrā́ṇi vidádhad víśvasya míṣato vaśī ||
Translation
સમુદ્રના અર્ણવમાંથી, ઊછળતા પૂરથી, સંવત્સર જન્મ્યો. તે વશી—અધિપતિ શક્તિ—સમસ્ત ચળવળતા જગત માટે અહોરાત્રોને વિધે છે.
