Sukta 1.173
ता कर्माषतरास्मै प्र च्यौत्नानि देवयन्तो भरन्ते । जुजोषदिन्द्रो दस्मवर्चा नासत्येव सुग्म्यो रथेष्ठाः ॥
tā karmā́ṣatarāsmái prá cyautnā́ni devayánto bharante | jujóṣad índro dasmávarcā nā́satyāiva sugmyò ratheṣṭhā́ḥ ||
દેવયંતો—દિવ્ય તરફ અભિલાષી—તેના માટે વધુ ને વધુ કૌશલ્યસભર કર્મો અને પ્રચ્યૌત્ન (પ્રબળ પ્રયત્નો/ઉદ્યમો) આગળ ધરે છે. દસ્મવર્ચા—અદ્ભુત તેજવાળો—ઇન્દ્ર તેમને જુજોષત્ (સ્વીકારી આનંદિત થાય); નાસત્યાઓ સમો સુગ્મ્યઃ—સુગમ ગતિમાં ત્વરિત—અને રથેષ્ઠાઃ—રથમાં દૃઢ—થાય.
