नक्षद्धोता परि सद्म मिता यन्भरद्गर्भमा शरदः पृथिव्याः । क्रन्ददश्वो नयमानो रुवद्गौरन्तर्दूतो न रोदसी चरद्वाक् ॥
nákṣad hótā pári sádma mitā́ yán bhárad gárbham ā́ śáradaḥ pṛthivyā́ḥ | krándad áśvo náyamāno ruvád gáur antár dūtó ná rodasī́ íti carád vāk ||
નક્ષદ્ધોતર—હોતૃ—માપેલા સદ્મ (નિવાસ)ને પરિભ્રમણ કરીને તેને આવરી લે છે, જ્યારે તે પૃથ્વીના શરદ્-ઋતુઓમાંથી ગર્ભને આગળ ધરે છે. આગળ દોરાતો હિહિનાતો અશ્વ જેમ, અને રંભતો ગૌર (વૃષભ) જેમ, વાણી અંદર ગતિ કરે છે—બે લોકો (રોદસી: દ્યૌ અને પૃથ્વી) વચ્ચે દૂત સમી—વાણીરૂપે દ્યૌ-પૃથ્વી વચ્ચે વિચરે છે.
