वनवासं न जानामि रामस्याहं महात्मनः ।
विवासनं वा सौमित्रे स्सीतायाश्च यथाऽभवत् ॥४॥
vanavāsaṃ na jānāmi rāmasyāhaṃ mahātmanaḥ |
vivāsanaṃ vā saumitreḥ sītāyāś ca yathā ’bhavat ||4||
મહાત્મા રામના વનવાસ વિષે મને કશી જાણ નહોતી; તેમજ સૌમિત્રિ (લક્ષ્મણ) અને સીતા દેવીનું નિર્વાસન કેવી રીતે થયું તે પણ મને ખબર નહોતી.
