La Mahānāmnī Ārcika («Colección de los grandes nombres») es una compacta aindra-daśati de diez versos sāmavédicos centrados en el poder soberano de Indra y en su guía discerniente del yajña. Aunque es breve, se la considera de gran eficacia: los himnos presentan a Indra como kavi/vidvān —quien «conoce» el rito, conduce rectamente al sacrificante y asegura victoria, protección y estabilidad regio-cósmica.
