Rishi

Devata

Agni

Chandas

Inside Sukta 7

How it unfolds

  1. Where it opens

  2. Development

Agni is unfolded as universally desirable and as the establisher for all, bringing sweetness of sustenance and expansive well-being to the seeker who discovers and serves him.

  3. Climax

Agni’s power turns even disorder and wrath toward offering; through him, the seer’s line overcomes dasyus and wins energizing impulses and true strengths.

  4. Where it settles

The hymn settles in confidence that rightly kindled Agni grants increase, protection, and the victory of ordered life (ṛta) over obstruction.
