Prompted by the deserving words of acclaim from his friends, Rama distributed with joy and without delay the entire wealth earned by him through dharma.
Wealth gained righteously should be used righteously: dhārmic earnings find completion in timely, proper distribution to one’s community and dependents.
The narration describes Rāma distributing the wealth he earned through righteous means, responding to appropriate words of respect from those around him.
Contentment and generosity—Rāma’s satisfaction is linked with giving, not hoarding.
