Sukta 9.88
एते सोमा अति वाराण्यव्या दिव्या न कोशासो अभ्रवर्षाः । वृथा समुद्रं सिन्धवो न नीचीः सुतासो अभि कलशाँ असृग्रन् ॥
eté sómā áti vārā́ṇy avyā́ divyā́ na kośā́so abhrá-varṣāḥ | vṛ́thā samudráṃ síndhavo na nīcī́ḥ sutā́so abhí kalaśā́ṃ asṛgran ||
Diese Soma-Ströme gehen über die wollenen Siebe hinaus, wie himmlische Gefäße, die aus der Wolke herabgießen. Gewaltig, wie Flüsse, die hinab zum Ozean drängen, sind die ausgepressten (Säfte) in die Krüge gelaufen — in die Gefäße des Aufbewahrens.
