इन्द्रो न यो महा कर्माणि चक्रिर्हन्ता वृत्राणामसि सोम पूर्भित् । पैद्वो न हि त्वमहिनाम्नां हन्ता विश्वस्यासि सोम दस्योः ॥

Transliteration

índro na yó mahā́ kármāṇi cakrír hantā́ vṛtrā́ṇām asi soma pū́r-bhit | paidvó na hí tvám ahi-nāmnām hantā́ víśvasyāsi soma dásyoḥ ||

Translation

Wie Indra, der die großen Werke vollbracht hat, bist du der Erschläger der Hemmnisse, o Soma, der Brecher der Burgen. Denn du bist wahrlich, wie der Sohn des Paidva, der Töter der schlangengenannten Mächte; du bist, o Soma, der Vernichter jedes Dasyu.
