Sukta 9.88
अयं सोम इन्द्र तुभ्यं सुन्वे तुभ्यं पवते त्वमस्य पाहि । त्वं ह यं चकृषे त्वं ववृष इन्दुं मदाय युज्याय सोमम् ॥
ayáṃ sóma indra túbhyaṃ sunve túbhyaṃ pavate tvám asya pāhi | tváṃ ha yáṃ cakṛṣé tváṃ vavṛ́ṣa índuṃ mádāya yújyāya sómam ||
Dieser Soma, o Indra, ist für dich gepresst; für dich fließt er, sich läuternd — trink davon. Denn wem du den Weg bereitet hast, wen du hast wachsen lassen: dieser Tropfen der Wonne, dieser Soma, ist zu deiner Trunkenheit und zu deinem Anjochen ans Werk.
