उभा देवा नृचक्षसा होतारा दैव्या हुवे । पवमान इन्द्रो वृषा ॥
ubhā́ devā́ nṛ-cákṣasā hótārā daívyā huve | pávamāna índro vṛ́ṣā ||
Die beiden göttlichen Hotars (hotāra), die mit Menschenblick schauen, rufe ich an – die für den Weg der Menschen wirken; im selbstreinigenden Soma (pavamāna) steht Indra, der Stier (vṛṣā), die innere Macht sieghafter Kraft.
