जज्ञानो नु शतक्रतुर्वि पृच्छदिति मातरम् । क उग्राः के ह शृण्विरे ॥
Transliteration
jajñānó nu śatá-kratur ví pṛcchad íti mātáram | ká ugrā́ḥ ké ha śṛṇvire ||
Translation
Neugeboren fragte Śatakratu, der hundertmächtige (Indra), in sich hinein die Mutter: „Wer sind die Furchtbaren, wer wird wahrlich (meinen Ruf) hören?“ — als suche er die Verbündeten der wahren Schlacht.
