मा नो हेतिर्विवस्वत आदित्याः कृत्रिमा शरुः । पुरा नु जरसो वधीत् ॥
Transliteration
mā́ no hetír vivásvata ādityāḥ kṛ́trimā śár uḥ | purā́ nu járaso vadhīt ||
Translation
Nicht treffe uns die Waffe des Vivasvat, o Ādityas—auch nicht der künstlich geschaffene feindliche Pfeil; nicht schlage sie uns vor der Zeit, ehe wir gereift sind, jenseits des Drucks des Alters.
