Sukta 8.47
आदित्या अव हि ख्यताधि कूलादिव स्पशः । सुतीर्थमर्वतो यथानु नो नेषथा सुगमनेहसो व ऊतयः सुतयो व ऊतयः ॥
ādityā́ áva hí khyátādhi kū́lād iva spáśaḥ | su-tī́rtham árvato yáthā́nu no neṣathā su-gám anehasaḥ vo ūtáyaḥ su-ūtáyaḥ vo ūtáyaḥ ||
O Ādityas, blickt herab — wie Wächter vom Flussufer — und führt uns, wie man Pferde führt, zu einer guten Furt, zu leichtem Übergang. Mögen eure unschädlichen Hilfen, eure guten Hilfen, bei uns sein.
