आ स एतु य ईवदाँ अदेवः पूर्तमाददे । यथा चिद्वशो अश्व्यः पृथुश्रवसि कानीतेऽस्या व्युष्याददे ॥

ā́ sá etu yá ī́vadā́ṃ ádevaḥ pūrtám ādadé | yáthā cid váśo aśvyáḥ pṛthú-śrávasi kānī́te ’syā́ vyuṣyā́dadé ||

Er komme heran — der, der, obgleich nicht mit den Göttern einhergehend, doch die vollkommene Opfergabe empfängt; wie einst Vaśa, der Reiter, im weithin gerühmten Kāṇīta sie beim Hervorgehen der Morgenröte nahm.
