Sukta 7.56
अस्मे वीरो मरुतः शुष्म्यस्तु जनानां यो असुरो विधर्ता । अपो येन सुक्षितये तरेमाध स्वमोको अभि वः स्याम ॥
asmē vīró marutaḥ śuṣmy astu jánānāṃ yó ásuro vidhartā́ | apó yéna sukṣitáye tárēmā́dha svám óko abhí vaḥ syāma ||
In uns, o Maruts, sei ein Held voll Kraft – der Asura, der Ordner unter den Menschen. Durch ihn mögen wir die Wasser durchqueren zu guter Wohnstatt; dann mögen wir zur eigenen Heimstatt gelangen, in eurer Gegenwart.
